In the heart of the village, the restaurant, which is located inside a XVII century building, offers a range of authentic products from the region to give refined French culinary discoveries.

  • When the weather is nice, the shaded terrace offers the tranquil setting of a picturesque village and the fresh, pure mountain air.
  • The Croix d'Or restaurant offers a unique setting for an unforgettable romantic evening or a business event. The two rooms of the restaurant can accommodate up to 40 people.
  • Every Sunday come to discover at 11:30, the Cross of Gold Brunch composed of a buffet of starters, cheeses and desserts and its traditional dish served in a casserole to share.
  • A large free car park located nearby is available for guests of the Hotel Restaurant de la Croix d'Or.

The masters of the place

Thanks to chiefs David Sauvignet and Damien Lanza, traditional dishes are revisited without forgetting local products of high quality. With their experience at the Hotel-restaurant Le Sapin in Charmey, where they obtained the prestigious Michelin Star in 2011, they know how to value traditional dishes by selecting seasonal products. Former chef at the Beau-Rivage Palace in Lausanne, then at the Chalet Royalp in Villars-sur-Ollon, David Sauvignet was awarded the prestigious Taittinger International Culinary Award in 2007.
